U-Fhern’s philosophy on jewellery is simple. Each piece must be individual such that no piece is ever the same. It is this philosophy of a perpetual pursuit of individuality that U-Fhern’s collections of fun, elegance and beauty are built upon.

Born in Malaysia, brought up in Brunei and educated in Australia, U-Fhern’s fusion designs are not inspired solely by her diverse upbringing but also by the people and culture she has come across on her travels around the world.

Her fusion designs are modern, contemporary while still evincing the elegance of traditional jewellery artistry.

Each piece is hand crafted canvassing a variety of techniques and quality of Swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls and semi-precious stones including garnet, jade, aquamarine, amethyst and rose quartz.

Soon to graduate from the University of Melbourne with a double degree in Commerce and Arts, U-Fhern has spent the best part of the past 5 years travelling and pursuing her passion for creative jewellery. She has studied creative jewellery at some of the most exclusive and reputable institutes in jewellery design in Europe and Asia.

Through her ability to also speak Cantonese and Mandarin, having spent time living in Beijing, U-Fhern has been able to source exclusive and rare materials. You might be lucky enough to encounter pieces that incorporate beads from China, jade from Hong Kong, a pendant from Florence or charms from London.

Today, U-Fhern continues to travel and continues to design for those who appreciate uniqueness and individuality.
